Hennie Botes, CEO and founder of the Moladi Construction Systems, is a keen inventor, entrepreneur and born philanthropist. As the designer of a multi award winning affordable housing technology, he has gained more than 27 years of experience in the building industry. Having travelled extensively, Mr Botes has a broad based understanding of the challenges that face affordable housing throughout the world and has unique insight into how business and governments can work together to eradicate the global housing shortage. In addition to driving the success of the moladi technology, Hennie continues to provide consulting services to governments, advisers and institutions internationally. In recognition of his efforts and contribution to the global housing sector, Hennie was awarded South Africa’s Science and Technology’s Man of the Year in 2009 by Men’s Health Magazine.

moladi Construction system - not just for houses Tanzania - Moladi technology to fast track construction of court buildings As the public awaits the much talked and awaited special court to try corruption and economic sabotage suspects, the chief justice assured the public that the government was, however, working to build more courts across the country to improve service delivery. Figures from the High Court of Tanzania show there were 3,963 wards and 139 districts across the country in addition to 960 and 27 court buildings for primary and district courts respectively. This means there is a deficit of 3,115 courts across the country. “Court buildings are in bad condition. We have been forced to close many buildings that were previously being used as courts since they don’t meet the requirements,” he told reporters.
